Testimonial emails, a profitable type of email campaign:
If you don’t know what type of email to write, you can rarely go wrong with a customer success story. And writing them is SUPER easy.
Here’s how to craft this type of email campaign:

Hey [First Name],
If you want to [get this benefit], then you’re gonna find [customer’s FIRST name]‘s story inspiring and useful.
Here’s the story:
[then you can either copy and paste the customer testimonial in the customer’s words OR paraphrase the key steps of their journey in your own words]
If you want to get results like [customer’s FIRST name], then my XYZ program shows you step-by-step how to do it. You can learn more about it here:

Cheers,
[Your name]

This email campaign type works so well that it’s become a “mandatory” email type in my client engagements these days.
As of right now, I’m seeing it perform better than other email types like value / how-to emails, personal story emails, checklist emails, etc. (Of course, context is everything so take that comment with a grain of salt.)
